Assem was an outstanding guide. He personalized the experience to our interests and went out of his way to make it an incredible morning. The surprise at the end was the best! (I won't spoil it for you) Book with Assem, you won't regret it.

Great guide and tour
This is a good way to experience Rome outside the main attractions. We enjoyed Assem. He is very knowledgeable and interested in sharing his love of Rome and it’s history. I would probably skip the catacombs portion, to be honest. Too many other things to see that are more interesting to me and my family.

Appian Way and Outskirts of Rome
We really enjoyed this morning tour of the outskirts of Rome. We got to see some beautiful views of the city, as well as some of the catacombs and the Appian Way. Assem was a great guide!

Wonderful tour - highly recommend
This tour was great and it was so nice to see parts of Rome that we wouldn't have found on our own. I would highly recommend the tour.
Assem is also a great guide. We did this tour and the Colosseum tour with him during our time in Rome. We learned so much from him during both!

A different Rome and a great guide
This review is somewhat overdue (in Rome early December) but I would be remiss if I didn't mention that this tour was a wonderful way to spend a few hours in Rome! Our tour guide, Assem, was personable, knowledgeable and appeared to truly enjoy showing us the sights. It was thrilling to walk on the Appian Way, look through "the keyhole" at St Peter's Basilica and witness the firing of the canon to remind churches to ring their bells. And some of the scenery was spectacular! I highly recommend Assem and this tour. Don't miss it.
