On this transfer tour we will provide you with transportation in a luxury Mercedes sedan or van and an English speaking driver, but we would highly recommend a local tour guide at the archaeological site of Pompeii, to give you a 2 hours guided tour for a more in-depth and memorable experience.
Pompeii :
The most stunning archaeological site in Italy and one of the most visited, Pompeii, along with Herculaneum and many villas in the surrounding area, was buried under volcanic ash and pumice in the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. Largely preserved under the ash, the excavated city offered a unique snapshot of roman life, frozen at the moment it was buried, and an extraordinarily detailed insight into the everyday life of its inhabitants.
After the visit, drive to Rome and drop off at your hotel.
