TOUR DESCRIPTION:

your private driver/guide will be waiting for you right in front of the ship exit door at the dock of Livorno’s port. With a luxury air conditioned sedan or minivan and in about one and a half hour you will reach the center of Florence to begin your private tour. You are going to start your tour with a panoramic stunning view of Florence and its monuments from the piazzale Michelangelo. Here, you can enjoy the most impressive view of the city before continuing down into its heart.

The itinerary will begin at the Accademia Gallery to see the David by Michelangelo, probably the most famous sculpture in the world. At entrance we will skip the line thanks to the advanced reservation, after that you can admire the Piazza Santa Croce and the pretty Santa Croce church. You’ll also see the impressive Piazza del Duomo (S. Maria del Fiore Cathedral, the Baptistery and Giotto’s Bell tower), Piazza della Signoria (Palazzo Vecchio), Piazza della Repubblica and the elegant Ponte Vecchio (Old Bridge). You’ll have free time to explore the many shops, watch the street performers, or simply enjoy the views over the river. There will be time for a short lunch break in a typical restaurant in the old city center. Then we’ll head to Pisa you will see the Piazza dei Miracoli, the great square where all the main historical buildings are located: the Leaning Tower, one of the most famous monuments in the world; the Baptistery and the magnificent Cathedral, built between the 11th and 12th century. The main attractions are all located around the Miracoli Square so you will be able to comfortably do the visit on your own. After the visit in Pisa your driver will take you back to the port of Livorno in time to board the ship.
